On 15–16 December 2025, the Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project “Scalable Electronic Document Workflow for Universities: Enhancing Efficiency, Autonomy and European Integration” (SEDWU) took place at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, with an option for remote participation.
The main objective of the Kick-off Meeting was to ensure a shared understanding of the project’s concept, objectives, structure, and expected outcomes. SEDWU aims to modernize and digitalize electronic document workflows in partner universities, strengthening institutional efficiency, transparency, and alignment with European best practices.
Bringing together universities and stakeholders from different countries, the meeting also served as an important platform for building trust, fostering mutual understanding, and aligning strategic visions across the consortium.
All partner institutions actively contributed, demonstrating the diversity of perspectives and the strong relevance of the project to different higher education contexts. The exchange of ideas confirmed that, despite varying national frameworks, many challenges are shared and can be addressed through coordinated solutions.
Most importantly, the meeting reinforced the shared commitment of the consortium to delivering high-quality results that will contribute to the digital transformation of higher education institutions and their integration into the European Higher Education Area.
